A Little About Our Team

Our experienced and expert nursery team consists of: Nursery Manager, Deputy Managers, Room Leaders, Nursery Practitioners, Apprentices, Nursery Chef, Admin Team, and Housekeeping Team. All staff hold a current Paediatric First Aid certificate and Enhanced DBS certificate.

At a Cressington Manor nursery we place a high emphasis on staff training and development, as we believe that our most valuable resource is our staff team! We also  have staff specifically trained in the following areas: SENCO and Wellcomm Co-ordinator,  Early Reading Advocates, a Physical Activity and Nutrition Co-ordinator (PANCO) and an Emotional Health and Well-Being Co-ordinator.

We support the continuous professional development of all our staff in many ways. We offer extensive training programmes which include: robust induction processes, in-house training, Local Authority external training sessions, bespoke training from other agencies such as Autism Initiatives and national consultants specialising in Pre-phonics and Early Language Development to meet the needs and interests of our team.

Our staff are committed to early years and love working with the children and their families. They are passionate about the role they can play in supporting children’s care and learning to enable them to feel happy, safe, and secure and achieve the very best that they can in their development and learning.

Staff supervision, ongoing suitability, peer observations and reviews are on-going to ensure that we maintain a clear focus on standards and that every member of our team are developed, and strengths supported, so we can provide the best care and education possible.
